Lady Anthonia Awele Okafor Rassel, Stuttgart resident, celebrated her 55th birthday in Esslingen in November 2025, drawing praise from one speaker after another for her reliability, belovedness, and preciousness.
Teeming with friends and family from Germany and abroad, the event drew attendees despite the chilling winter weather, and combined reflections on past experiences, joyful celebration, and thanksgiving. Also, Pastor Hammond and members of New Life International Church in Stuttgart, the Delta Indigenes Forum, and the Ibo and Yoruba communities came to offer their support.
Speaking briefly with LIFTED MAGAZINE, the main organiser, Carmen Ogechukwu Rassel—who is also Anthonia’s daughter—explained that the event was held simply to honour the best mother in the world.
With so much fun and joy, guests danced till the following morning to a special presentation of African traditional and Western music, along with refreshments.
